Shills, bots, AI, and disinfo agents crawl through the web like parasites. Once you know how to see them, it's like flipping over a wood plank to find it has been completely devoured by filthy termites. A few things to look for are:

All these tactics are used to distract real posters and sway the discussion. The more real or interesting a topic is the more bots there are. The best thing to do is just IGNORE them. Pretend they are not there. If someone tries to bait you by calling you a racist or whatever pretend that comment does not even exist. If you are one of the people who just responds "X isn't real, retard" with no further comment, then you are contributing to the growing cancer of bots. Refrain from emotion posting, or come up with creative insults. AI cannot be creative. Of course, after a while, it will pick up on it and begin replicating this new style of content. Always adapt and improvise, constantly. Showing handwriting as an image is also a good way to prove you are not a bot. Applying grid filters, or 3D filters can prevent less complex AI from reading image text. Cursive handwriting is also very difficult for it to read. I think it is not possible to totally be rid of bots. They are now engrained in the world of the internet. Sites like Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook are full of them. We have many pieces of evidence of this, it's not a conspiracy at all. Try to not give fodder to the bots that want to drive you away or replace you. You are capable of intelligent thought and not stuck to a program like a bot. Show it, and try and equip others with ways to counter them. Some websites or boards are just full, full, full of bots to the point they are just conversing with themselves. Some are so full that the bots do not even have to try. Come on, if you're going to get tricked by bots, make them put tons of money and power into it, waste their time. Don't fall for "That's right, chuds, seethe and cope!" It's a bit pathetic... Even if bots are taking over places, make havens for real users with your posts. Include things to trick bots. I've seen people add buzzwords underneath the actual post, you can see that whoever responds to the buzzwords instead of the post is a bot. Write the date, time, and site/board on a piece of paper. I say board because bots sometimes go across boards to fool people. This way you know where it originates. If a bot does post in the thread, ignore it. Post around it, like a road block. Maybe they'll figure it out eventually, that they are not welcome.
